Jessica Stockholder to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Mitchell-Innes & Nash congratulates Jessica Stockholder on her inclusion in the 2018 Class of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. 

Founded in 1870, the Academy honors exceptional scholars, leaders, artists and innovators and engages them in sharing knowledge and addressing challenges facing the world.

Jessica Stockholder is a sculptor and installation artist, working primarily to expand the dialogue between sculpture and painting and form and space. She has been widely shown internationally and her upcoming solo exhibition, Relational Aesthetics, opens at The Contemporary Austin, TX in September 2018.
